North Cal.

"It's both a blessing and a curse to feel so very deeply." I had a sweet friend send me this last week (you know who you are) saying that she just couldn't shake the feeling and had to let me know it reminded her of me. I know that whole-hearted living and pure happiness only comes when we are willing to take it ALL in. Inhale the unknown, speak when you are uncomfortable, scream when you're feeling giddy, let the water run when that suffocating pit forms in your throat, allow your body to be taken in by your spirit and eat all the donuts you can get your hands on...unless they are crappy donuts. If they are crappy donuts don't eat them. It's okay to discriminate against donuts. They don't have feelings and a bad donut is just a waist of calories. Anyways....where was I? Oh yeah, feeling deeply. That's all I have to say on that. Now if I can only take my own advice, as vulnerability is definitely NOT my forte.

Also, in light of recent U.S. government events, I thought I'd give my two cents. It's my blog. I can do what I want, right? I'll be frank. I don't know how I feel about it all. However, I do know that I belong to a church that teaches us by Christ's example to love. Despite any differences in lifestyle or opinion I may have with my fellow humanoids, I will choose to do my very best to treat everyone with the kindness and respect they deserve. I have made a choice to be a full-fledged member of the LDS church and with my God-given agency, I will also choose to care for everybody I meet (gay, straight, blue, black, Canadian, alien, over 90 and under 10). Just remember, if you come from similar beliefs, then you likely believe that we are literal sons and daughters of God, brothers and sisters. I won't let differences take me away from the fundamentals.

Have a good night erry' body. Peace and blessings.
